What LootSaver is
A planning and insight platform, not a bank or advisor.
LootSaver is designed to help users understand their finances, compare future tradeoffs, and plan what comes next.
LootSaver is not a bank, brokerage, custodial platform, or financial advisor. The platform is intended for financial organization, planning, and decision support.
Data flow
Connected account data is read-only and used for insights.
LootSaver uses Plaid to access permitted financial account information needed to support snapshots, insights, and planning context.
LootSaver does not receive or store customer banking credentials. Authentication happens through Plaid and the connected institution flow.
Security model
Infrastructure and access are protected through layered controls.
LootSaver runs on AWS and uses encrypted transport, controlled access patterns, and authenticated session flows to reduce unauthorized access and protect sensitive operations.
The platform is designed to keep security controls in the backend rather than relying on thin client-side interpretation for sensitive logic.
AI transparency
Automated outputs are estimates, not advice.
LootSaver may show projections, scenario results, stress signals, and guidance to help users understand tradeoffs and next steps.
These outputs are estimates based on available data and system models. They may be incomplete, stale, or wrong and should not be treated as legal, tax, investment, or financial advice.
User controls
Users can disconnect, request deletion, and contact support.
