Clear language about how LootSaver handles data, security, and AI.
LootSaver is built to help people understand financial tradeoffs without hiding how the platform works. This page explains the role of connected data, the platform security posture, and the limits of automated outputs.
What LootSaver is
A planning tool, not a bank or advisor.
LootSaver helps people understand their financial position, plan ahead, and compare what-if decisions in a calmer, more structured way.
LootSaver is not a bank, brokerage, custodial platform, or financial advisor. The service is designed for organization, planning, and decision support.
How data works
Connected account access is read-only.
When you connect accounts, LootSaver uses Plaid to access permitted financial information needed to display balances, transactions, and related planning context.
LootSaver does not receive or store your banking credentials. Authentication happens through Plaid and the connected institution flow.
LootSaver uses connected data to support visibility, planning, and comparisons. It does not move money or initiate transfers from linked accounts.
Security model
Built with layered controls for access and protection.
LootSaver uses encrypted transport, protected cloud infrastructure on AWS, controlled access patterns, and authenticated session flows to help safeguard customer information.
Security controls are designed to reduce unauthorized access, isolate sensitive operations, and preserve reliable system behavior.
AI transparency
Outputs are estimates and guidance, not advice.
LootSaver may present projections, scenario comparisons, stress signals, and structured guidance to help users understand tradeoffs.
These outputs are estimates based on available data and system models. They may be incomplete, stale, or wrong and should not be treated as legal, tax, investment, or financial advice.
User control
Users stay in control of their data and access.
Users can disconnect linked accounts, request deletion, and stop using the service at any time.
LootSaver is designed so planning and connected-data features support user choice rather than lock users into opaque workflows.
